Sitting quietly on the side of a busy Scottsdale road, Two Hippies Beach House serves up beachfriendly food to a hungry desert.

Offering tacos, burritos, hot dogs and burgers, Two Hippies offers a very inexpensive alternative to the fast food normality we are used to.

We sat down on a Saturday afternoon, and the grass umbrellas and beach feel fi t the "Beach House" name perfectly.

Offering $5 "Taco 3-packs," we ordered a variety so that we could choose our top picks.

Rounding out our top taco three, we choose the Fish taco, chicken and out of the ordinary cactus taco.

They were all topped with shredded cabbage, onion, tomato, cheese, rice, pinto beans and cilantro.

Our top burger pick was the "Monterrey Jack & Basil Pesto Burger" ($6) served with Two Hippie's signature "sunshine sauce." Served with a fat side of crinkle fries, our hearts were content and our stomaches full.

But our top pick, the "#4" ($4) hot dog at Two Hippies, is topped with feta cheese, pesto-mayo, bacon, tomato and onions. Starting with an allbeef hot dog, the fl avors of the feta and the tangy zip of the onions with the salty bacon makes this the must-have, must-try item at Two Hippies Beach House.

Whatever item you choose, make sure that it doesn't stand alone; pair it with their delicious lemonades.

With over 15 fl avors to choose from, they encourage you to mix and match.

The possibilities are endless, but we went with Kiwi-Watermelon and it was a refreshing way to complete our Beach House meal.

So jump into your favorite board shorts and cruise down to Two Hippies Beach House.

You'll be sure to have a groovy time with some good and inexpensive eats.
