Throughout this semester, we have focused on
exciting inexpensive eats around the Valley.
For our last issue we have centered on a more
upscale bistro, with the best lunch you will enjoy
while dining on a dime.
Vincent Market Bistro opened in 2003, and is adjacent
to the main restaurant Vincent on Camelback.
Vincent's homemade stocks and sauces as well
as his popular croissants and desserts makes this
upscale but inexpensive bistro a unique fi nd in the
usually expensive Camelback area.
You may sit inside or on the patio and enjoy the
regular market bistro menu or daily specials (each
$10). Using only the freshest produce and fi nest ingredients,
it is easy to see why Vincent Market Bistro
is so popular.
We enjoyed many dishes from the regular menu
including the Prosciutto and mozzarella salad ($7.50)
with fresh mozzarella, shaved prosciutto, and the
best tomatoes I have found outside my local farmer's
market.
Our favorite main course, Pates au Pistou ($7)
spinach pasta paired with basil pesto is tossed lightly
with chicken or shrimp if you choose and topped
with parmesan. The pasta and pesto displays fl avors
that refl ect the quality that the Vincent name
is known for.
To end our meal we indulged in a variety of desserts,
Vincent's offers a complimentary dessert
with your entrée, which changes daily. We also enjoyed
the bread pudding ($5.50), and the homemade
sorbet ($5.50) and then traveled home for a much
needed nap.
Vincent Market Bistro is a rare gem that offers a
fantastic way to enjoy an upscale meal at a fraction
of what a bistro of this quality should be charging.
We encourage you to frequent Vincent Market Bistro
for a quality meal you will travel back for time
and time again.
