The Fetish ball is a place that celebrates alternative sexuality where people can express themselves through their kinks and fetishes by wearing what they want. The ball is put on by Horns and Halos and it took place at the Venue of Scottsdale.

Live bands thrashed throughout the night keeping the energy up and the people dancing.
The Fetish Ball featured vendors of all sorts including "Fang Master" Dnash, who handmade acrylic fangs for attendees willing to spend around $140. The fangs are reusable and can last for quite some time.

"I've known people that have had theirs for over 15 years… It just depends on how you take care of them," said Dnash.

Along with Dnash, other vendors selling their specialty items such as collars, chokers, bondage furniture, face masks, pipes, photography, and of course fetish themed clothing.

Sabrina Jones, Cassandra Amzallag and Jackie Chikos were there promoting the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Dressing up, and in some cases dressing down, way down, was not out of the ordinary for them.

"A lot of these people are in to what we do so we get to meet and greet and advertise by dressing up and having a good time," said Chikos. "It's just a great way to project with different people that you may not get to meet through everyday life"

The outfits, or lack of, were the highlight of the night for some people.

Jones was dressed as a French Maid and said it only took her 20 minutes to get ready.

"It's exciting to see what everyone is wearing because some people put so much time, effort and money into their outfits, said Jones.

For other people, getting ready took hours.

Brandy Smith put a lot of effort in to her sexy ringleader ensemble. She had crystals carefully placed along the side of her face that she said took over 40 minutes to glue on.

"It's all worth it in the end, I have no discrete when I come here," said Smith.

The night wrapped up with a fashion show put on by local fetish attire store Fetish Falls.
Many people attending the ball went to Fetish Falls to get their creative attire.

"We dress a lot of people for these events, the fun part is making sure we don't have any two people dressed exactly the same," said Krista Manson, owner of Fetish Falls.

Manson was dressed as a "vampire kitty." She had on cat ears, a tail and she was wearing fangs made by Dnash.

The Fetish Ball had a real good turn out this time around with 1100 people in attendance.

"This year was the largest turn out since 2005 and was by far the most heavily turned out in fetish attire," said Mitchel Palmer of Horns and Halos.  "Despite the recession people came out for a night of dancing, deviance and debauchery that Horns & Halos provides. We loved the vibe of the entire event."
